Elizabeth "Betty" J. Bickford

A Funeral Service for Elizabeth "Betty" Bickford of Mountain Home, Arkansas, will be 1:00 pm, Friday, March 25, 2016, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel, with Reverend Tom Frase officiating. Visitation will be Friday, March 25, 2016, from 12:00 pm until the time of service at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemetery, Mountain Home, Arkansas.

Elizabeth passed away March 22, 2016, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 69. She was born February 27, 1947, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, the daughter of Bill and Helen Aden Shelton. She married Tom Bickford on June 6, 1964, at Mountain Home, Arkansas and was an accountant and bookeeper for Alco and Baxter Lab.

Elizabeth is survived by her husband, Tom Bickford of Mountain Home, AR; son, David Bickford of Mountain Home, AR; granddaughter, Samantha Bickford of Hartman, AR; three great-grandchildren, Eric, Christopher, and Adilynn Bickford; sister, Debbie Roberts of Siloam Springs, AR; brother Ben (Cynthia) Shelton of Forsyth, MO; nephew, John Paul Bickford; niece, Tammy Bickford; and many special friends, including, Saunnie, Courtney, and Cheney Allen all of Evening Shade, AR; Tom and Brenda Davis of Mountain Home, AR; JR and Sandra Anderson of Mountain Home, AR; and Roy and Suzanna Bell of Mountain Home, AR.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and brother, Bill Shelton.

Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association or the Mountain Home Christian Clinic.
