Elizabeth "Bettie" Ann Finks of Mountain Home, Arkansas, went to her heavenly home on August 20, 2024, in Mountain Home, Arkansas, after a long struggle with Parkinson's, at the age of 89. She was born April 3, 1935, in Spring Valley, Illinois, the daughter of Harry and Cecil White. She spent most of her life in Morris, Illinois. She worked at Humiston Keeling Inc. and Bimet Corp in Morris, Illinois. She married Gene Finks on October 27, 2000, in Jacksonville, Florida. Bettie lived in Mountain Home since 2016.
Elizabeth is survived by her husband, Alfred Finks of Mountain Home, AR; sister,-in-law, Betty Jean White; four children, Vickie Herr of Pensacola, FL, Rick (Janet) Cordrey of Mountain Home, AR, Michael (Debby) Cordrey of Morris, IL, and Jane (Rick) Rexroade of Moriarty, NM; 10 grandchildren, Jessica Jacobus of Santa Rosa Beach, FL, Joshua Mauity of Meadowbrook, WV, Cassie Vanholtz o fPensacola, FL, Benjamin (Angie) Cordrey of Chesapeake, VA, Elizabeth (Kory) Miller of Lebanon, TN, Emily (Michael) Cagel of Mountain Home, AR, Chase Painter of Moriarty, NM, Katie (Scott) Cravens, Michelle (Caleb) Dupes, and Paige Prochotsky; 12 great-grandchildren, Austin, Blaine, Cash, Max, Samantha, Benjamin Jr, Brooklynn, Ella, Riley, Beau, Cole, and Mila.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Cecil White; four brothers, Harold (Rose) White, Frank (Lucille) White, David (Gerry) White, and Clifford White; and three grandchildren, Dennis Benson, Jason McNabb, and Joshua Prochotsky.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Twin Lakes Church of the Nazarene on September 21, 2024. Memorials may be made to Hospice of the Ozarks.
