Mrs. Kessler died Octber 21, 2010 at Hospice of the Ozarks Hospice House, at the age of 83. She was born February 19, 1928 in Haddonfield, New Jersey the daughter of Paul R. and Anna B. Steigerwald Hemphill. She married John D. Kessler at College Station, Pennslyvania. Betty was as a School Teacher and enjoyed investing, plants, flowers and traveling. Elizabeth "Betty" had lived in the Mountain Home, Arkansas area since moving from Bushnell, Florida in September 2008.
She is survived by 2 sons, David (Martha) Kessler of Cotter, Arkansas, Richard (Amanda) Kessler of Los Alamo; 4 grandchildren, Ben, Michelle, Michael and Elise Kessler; 1 sister, Judith Strong of Norristown, Pennsylvania and 1 brother, Carl Hemphill of Ocean Isle Beach, North Carolina.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of the Ozarks, American Cancer Society or Good Samaritan Nursing Home.
