Elizabeth Newell

Elizabeth B. Newell, 93, of Mountain Home, Arkansas was born November 15, 1913 in Laporte, Indiana to Claude H. and Helen Stratton Bowlby. She was a graduate of South Side High School and volunteered many years and managed the Gift Shop at Parkview Memorial Hospital in Ft. Wayne. She also volunteered at Baxter Regional Memorial Hospital in Mountain Home, Arkansas. She is preceded in death by her two husbands; Rae C. Newell, an assistant controller at Magnavox and John D. Newell of Somers Bakery, Three sisters; Ruth Schafer of Ft. Wayne, Claudia MacInnes of Maryland and Mary Baird of Minnesota. Elizabeth is survived by one daughter, Sarah E. ?Sally? Radspieler and husband Albert of Mountain Home, Arkansas. She passed away at Care Manor nursing home on February 23, 2007. She had also lived at Outlook Point Assisted Living. Elizabeth was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Ft. Wayne, Indiana in Mountain Home. Survivors: One Daughter; Sarah E. ?Sally? Radspieler and husband Albert of Mountain Home, Arkansas. Preceded in Death by: by her two husbands; Rae C. Newell, an assistant controller at Magnavox and John D. Newell of Somers Bakery, Three sisters; Ruth Schafer of Ft. Wayne, Claudia MacInnes of Maryland and Mary Baird of Minnesota. Funeral: Private graveside services in the Greenlawn Cemetery will be handled by Klaehn Funeral Home in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
