Ellen Scammahorn

Ellen Scammahorn was born September 18, 1938, in Cowden, Illinois, to Roy and Ethel Hedrick Lorton. She married Edgar W. Scammahorn on August 6, 1964, in Decator, Illinois. She moved to Bull Shoals from McAllister, Oregon, in 2001 and worked for Micro Plastics. Mrs. Scammahorn enjoyed bowling, crocheting, garden work and was a Nascar fan. She was a member of the First Assembly of God Church. Survivors: two daughters, Debra (Russell) King of Flippin, Arkansas and Arlinda (Chris) Dudley of Bull Shoals, Arkansas; one son, Donald "Buzz" (Debra) Hill of Flippin, Arkansas; ten grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; two brothers and three sisters Preceded in Death by: husband, son William Scammahorn, parents and a brother Funeral: Memorial services for Ellen Scammahorn, 67, of Bull Shoals, Arkansas, will be at a later date in Illinois.
