A Celebration of Life for Ellen Grace Webster of Mountain Home, Arkansas, will be 5:00 P.M., Friday, October 5, 2012, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel, with Reverend Rodney Steele officiating. A Gathering of Friends will begin at 4:00 P.M. prior to the service. Ellen passed away October 2, 2012, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 81. She was born February 19, 1931, in Detroit, Michigan, the daughter of Edwin and Dorthea Haggyard Hammond. She married Clark Webster on July 5, 1952, at Detroit, Michigan and was a homemaker. Ellen lived in Mountain Home, Arkansas since 2004, moving from Hot Springs, Arkansas. She enjoyed golf, cooking, family, traveling and had a great sense of humor. Ellen is survived by her husband, Clark Webster; two daughters, Karen (Jeff) Schaeffer of Centennial, CO and Gail (Merle) May of Norfork, AR; one sister, Marion McBrien of Detroit, MI; four grandchildren, Matthew (Courtney) Lester, Stacie (Anthony) Tackitt, Raymond Schaeffer and Sarah Schaeffer and 5 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and one son. Memorials may be made to Hospice of the Ozarks. Arrangements are by Kirby and Family Funeral and Cremation Services.
