Graveside services for Elma June Kirkland-Carson of Mountain Home, Arkansas, will be 1:00 PM Saturday, February 26, 2011 at Howards Ridge Cemetery.
June died Monday, February 21, 2011 at her residence, at the age of 75. She was born July 14, 1935 in Mountain Home, AR, the daughter of Frank and Mary Douglas Kirkland. She worked as a nurse's aide for a home health agency. June was a lifetime resident of Mountain Home.
June is survived by 1 brother, J.W. (Fredine) Kirkland of Stigler, OK; 6 nephews, Larry (Rita) Barker of Mountain Home, AR, David Barker of Cabot, AR, Jerry (Ginger) Kirkland, Kenny (Penny) Kirkland, Lowell Kirkland and Tim (Patty) Kirkland all of Stigler, OK; 3 neices, Kathie (Jimmy) Mitchell of Calico Rock, AR, Cindy (Bill) Hatfield of Stigler, OK and Judy Hickman of AL and many great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother Carl Barker.
Burial will be in the Howards Ridge Cemetery with her nephews as pallbearers.
