A Family Graveside Service for Elmer Lloyd Breytspraak of Mountain Home, Arkansas, will be held privately at Baxter Memorial Gardens, with Reverend Atherton Hiett, Jr. officiating.

Elmer passed away January 4, 2013, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 99. He was born May 18, 1913, in Chicago, Illinois, the son of Walter and Flora Hohmann Breytspraak. He married Jeannette Maus on August 6, 1938, at LaGrange, Illinois, and was the owner of Mountain Marine and Jeep. Elmer lived in Mountain Home, Arkansas, since 1955, moving from LaGrange, Illinois. He was a member and former president of the Lions Club of Mountain Home. He enjoyed bowling. Elmer was the youngest person in the state of Illinois to hold a pilot's license, at the age of 15 years.

Elmer is survived by his son, Donald L. (Linda) Breytspraak of Mountain Home, AR, three grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and son, Lee Breytspraak.

Memorials may be made to Perry's Orphan Sanctuary.
