Elmer L. Kempf was born on September 20, 1917 in Marathon, Wisconsin. He was the son of Albert and Selma Bartel Kempf. He married Dorothy M. Herrman on September 5, 1944 in Edgar, Wisconsin. Mr. Kempf was employed as an electrical machinist for Cherry Electric Company in Waukegan, Illinois for 20 years. He has resided in Mountain Home, Arkansas since July, 1986 when he moved from Waukegan, Illinois. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. Mr Kempf passed away on December 15, 2004 at Baxter Regional Medical Center in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 87 years, 2 months and 25 days. Survivors: 2 sons: Randall Kempf of Toronto, Canada and Steven (Ellen) Kempf of Waukegan, Illinois; 5 grandchildren; 1 great granddaughter; 3 brothers: Arnold Kempf of Brandon, Florida, Norton (Sally) Kempf of Dubuque, Iowa and Melvin (Irene) Kempf of Wausau, Wisconsin; and 1 sister: Loraine Becker of Wausau, Wisconsin Preceded in Death by: His parents, 5 brothers and 1 sister Funeral: The Memorial Service will be 11:00 a.m., Monday, December 20, 2004 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Mountain Home, Arkansas. Reverend Dave Kapler will officiate.
