Elmer Miller

Services for Elmer "Al" Miller, 72, of Cotter will be private. Mr. Miller died Tuesday, January 2, 2007, at Baxter Regional Medical Center. Elmer "Al" Miller was born January 16, 1934, at Spring Valley, Illinois, to Fred and Nellie Miller. He married Helen Tofte Reynolds on February 21, 1969, at Las Vegas, Nevada. He was a store manager and a Navy veteran of the Korean Conflict. Mr. Miller lived in Cotter since moving from California in 1991. He collected toy automobiles and enjoyed construction and motorcycling. Mr. Miller is survived by his wife Helen Miller of Cotter; two sons, Kenneth (Shelly) Miller of Buena Park, California, and Chris Miller of Los Angeles, California; one stepdaughter, Kari Reynolds of Cotter; one brother, Fred Miller of Chino, California; nine grandchildren; one great-grandson; and one aunt, Eva Weiner of Burt, Iowa. He was preceded in death by his parents, one daughter and one brother. Memorials may be made to Arkansas Children's Hospital. Arrangements are by Kirby-Boaz Funeral Directors.
