Emma Campbell

Funeral services for Emma Maxine Campbell of Gassville, AR, will be 11:00 A.M. Saturday, September 19, 2009 at Cotter Church of Christ, with Brother Ron Davenport officiating. Visitation will be from 5-8 P.M., Friday, September 18 at Kirby & Family Funeral Home. Emma died Wednesday, September 16, 2009 in Mountain Home at the age of 91. She was born Sunday, August 4, 1918 in Elizabeth, Arkansas, daughter of Thomas and Mace Price Sublett. She married Samuel Joseph Campbell on December 1, 1940 at Salem, Arkansas and worked as a Secretary for the Fulton County Health Department, Salem, Arkansas. Emma was a lifetime resident of the area and collected porcelain figurines. Emma Campbell is survived by her son, Howard (Kiku) Campbell of Gassville, AR, grandson, Joseph William (Valerie) Campbell and great-granddaughter, Katherine Campbell both of Fisher, AR. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 1 sister. Burial will be in the Gassville Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Cotter Church of Christ.
