Erna Kearns

Erna Kearns of Mountain Home, Arkansas, passed away January 22, 2021, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 97. She was born May 16, 1923, in Wolfschlugen, Germany, the daughter of Wilhelm and Rosine Knoll Maier. She moved to the United States in 1939 and married Courtney Kearns on April 20, 1961 in Kansas City, MO. They moved to Elizabeth, AR in 1976. She was a member of The Table Community Church in Mountain Home.

Erna is survived by her granddaughter, Mary Buche, of Olathe, KS; grandson, Robert Kearns, of Lenexa, Kansas and friends; Kate Tallman, of Oakland, Mira Esposito, of Elizabeth, AR, Liz Vanetten, of Mountain Home, AR and James Moore, of Mountain Home, AR.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Courtney Kearns; and son, William Thomas Kearns.

A Memorial Service for Erna will be 3:00 pm, Wednesday, January 27, 2021, at Kirby & Family Funeral and Cremation Services, with Mr. James Moore officiating. Due to current restrictions, masks are required.
