Ernestine Kouns

Ernestine M. "Tina" Kouns was born September 24, 1935, at San Jose, California, to Nicholas and Armida Alvarado Ramas. She married James Kouns on March 10, 1990, at Las Vegas, Nevada. She was a homemaker and enjoyed camping, walking and the beaches. She had lived in the Gassville area since moving from Costa Mesa, California, in 2004. She was a Catholic. Tina passed away on December 21, 2006 at the Pine Lane Nursing Center at the age of 71 years, 2 months and 27 days. Survivors: survived by her husband, James; 2 daughters, Leanore (Frank) Gifford of Whittier, California; Amy Hurst of Garden Grove, California; 2 sons, Don and Nicholas Hurst of Garden Grove, California; 11 Grandchildren; 2 Sisters, Esperanza Shirley of Garderville, Nevada and Hilda Candelaria of Manteca, California; 1 brother, Alex Ramos of Grass Valley, California; several nieces and nephews and cousins. Preceded in Death by: Her Parents` Funeral: at 10:00 AM, December 28, 2006, at Lima Family - Erickson Mortuary in San Jose, California Burial: Calvary Catholic Cemetery Memorials: Baxter House Adult Day Care Center Endowment fund.
