Services for Esther E. Dolak, 92, of Mountain Home, Arkansas, will be private. Esther died Wednesday, August 24, 2011 at Mountain Home. She was born October 8, 1918 in Gary, Indiana, the daughter of John H. and Beda Ranleen Strom. She married Joseph Dolak on October 17, 1936 at Gary, Indiana and was a homemaker. Esther lived in Mountain Home, Arkansas since 1999 moving from Barefoot Bay, Florida. She was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church. Esther is survived by 2 daughters, Joyce (Lawrence) Pavol of Yellville, AR and Nancy (Gary) Smalley of Hobart, IN; 1 sister, Lillian Mott of Kent, WA; 5 grandchildren, Elyse Meyer, Todd Pavol, Jennifer Alphin, Robert and Joseph Smalley; and great-grandchildren, Brandon and Caylan Obando. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 2 brothers, 2 sisters and 2 grandchildren. Memorials may be made to Hospice of the Ozarks Hospice House or Kindness, Inc.
