Ethel Elizabeth Simpson was born January 1, 1923 in Washington D.C. She was the daughter of William and Edna Holley Carrigan. She was employed as a secretary and receptionist with Cedars Home for Children in Lincoln, Nebraska. She married Murl Muenchau on June 1, 1946 in Aberdeen, Maryland. After his death she married Edward A. Simpson in Norfork, Arkansas in March, 1989. She was a resident of the area from 1978 to 2004, after which she moved to Georgia. Ethel Elizabeth Simpson passed away in Conyers, Georgia at the age of 82 years, 9 months and 6 days. Survivors: Her husband of sixteen years, Edward A. Simpson of Mansfield, Georgia; one son, Murl R. (Kathy) Muenchau, Jr. of Catawba, Ohio; two step-sons, Alan (Martha) Simpson of Mansfield, Georgia and Andy Simpson of Searcy, Arkansas; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren Preceded in Death by: Her husband Murl Muenchau Burial: Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemetery, Mountain Home, Arkansas Memorials: American Diabetes Association Active Bearers: Howard Rand, Alvin Reynolds, Melvin Small, Alan Simpson, Andy Simpson, Stanley Simpson and Ben Muenchau
