Eugene Greene

Eugene Francis Greene was born November 12, 1929 in St. Louis, Missouri. He was the son of Charles W. and Anna Nelke Greene. He owned and operated Fouts Boat Dock in Gamaliel for eighteen years, and was a United States Navy Veteran. Mr. Greene lived in St. Louis, Missouri prior to moving to Gamaliel in 1976. He loved boating and woodworking and had been a volunteer fireman with the Gamaliel Volunteer Fire Department. He attended the 101 Presbyterian Church. Eugene Francis Greene Sr. passed away at Baxter Regional Medical Center on April 27, 2005, at the age of 75 years, 5 months and 12 days. Survivors: Wife, Ellen Greene of Gamaliel; two sons, Eugene F. (Lynda) Greene Jr. of Labadie, Missouri, and Jon C. Greene of Dallas, Texas; two granddaughters, Camille (Chris) Hanna of Las Vegas, Nevada, and Meredith (Dorian) Bishopp of Trenton, New Jersey; two great-grandchildren, Blaine Bishopp and Claire Hanna; one brother, Charles W. (Katheryn) Greene Jr. of St. Louis, Missouri; two sisters, Helen (Tony) Weston of Ballwin, Missouri and Dorothy (Walter) Lohmeyer of St. Charles, Illinois Preceded in Death by: First wife, Millie Greene; one daughter, Sandra, and his parents Funeral: Memorial services for Eugene Greene of Gamaliel will be at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, April 30, 2005 at 101 Presbyterian Church with Reverend Charles White officiating Memorials: 101 Volunteer Fire Department, Gamaliel, AR
