A Graveside Service for Evalena J. Woods of Caufield, Missouri, will be 2:00 pm, Wednesday, November 9, 2016, at Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemetery, with Brother Frank Plachy officiating.
Evalena passed away November 5, 2016, in Caulfield, Missouri, at the age of 93. She was born November 6, 1922, in Windyville, Missouri, the daughter of Jessie and Missouri Parrott Patterson. She married Esel James Woods on February 10, 1941, at Houston, Missouri and was a factory worker. Evalena lived in Cotter since 1973, moving from Willow Springs, Missouri. She was a very kind person and hard worker. She enjoyed cooking and loved to read.
Evalena is survived by her three sons, Carol (Mary) Woods of Cabool, MO, Harold Woods of Caulfield, MO and Lonnie Woods of Lillian, AL; daughter, Barbara Millem of Caulfield, MO; 12 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, James Woods, Jr.; grandchild, Laura Woods and son-in-law, Charles Millem.
