A Graveside Service for Evangeline Helen Ronning of Mountain Home, Arkansas, will be 2:00 pm, Thursday, February 6, 2014, at Baxter Memorial Gardens, with Reverend Marillyn Schultz officiating.
Vange passed away February 3, 2014, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 88. She was born November 15, 1925, in Montevideo, Minnesota, the daughter of Emil and Helma Falla Laumb. She married David Ronning on December 16, 1945 at Montevideo and worked as a payroll clerk for a power company. Vange lived in Mountain Home since 1985, moving from Ohio. She enjoyed knitting, crossword puzzles and fishing.
Vange is survived by her husband, David Ronning of Mountain Home; AR, two sons, John (Terry) Ronning of Richardson, TX and Jerry (Maureen) Ronning of Bradenton, FL; three grandchildren, Kristen (David) Kinchen of McDonough, GA, John (Mellissa) Ronning of Scottsdale, AZ and Michael Ronning of Seatle, WA; several great-grandchildren and two sisters, Blanche (Don) Loftis of Montevideo, MN and Sandy Skrove of New Brighton, MN.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Marlow Laumb.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of the Ozarks or the Food Pantry at Holy Cross Lutheran Church.
