A memorial service for Evelyn Bigham will be at 11:00 am Saturday December 18, 2010 at the First Presbyterian Church in Mountain Home with Reverend Nancy Taylor officiating.
Evelyn Berry Bigham of Olive Branch, MS., born April 24, 1922 in Magee, MS to Ernest Roderick and Annie Berry, passed away Saturday December 4, 2010. In 1950 while working as a Southern Bell telephone operator in West Monroe, LA she married Perry N. Bigham who preceded her in death 3 years ago. They had just celebrated their 57th wedding anniversary. Evelyn and Perry chose Mountain Home, AR. for their 20 year retirement. The Bighams were very active in the Presbyterian Church and most recently at First Presbyterian Church of Mountain Home.
She is survived by her sons Rod Bigham (Jeannie) of Concord, CA, and Chris Bigham of Olive Branch, MS., her grandchildren James, Doug, and Jessica Bigham, and her brother Robert Berry, of West Monroe, LA.
The family asks that any memorials be sent to First Presbyterian Church 1106 Spring Street, Mountain Home, AR 72653.
