Evelyn Broskovak

A funeral service for Evelyn Broskovak will be 10:00 A.M. Saturday August 15, 2009 at Kirby & Family Funeral Home in Bull Shoals with the Brother Noel Moore officiating.

Evelyn Broskovak died Tuesday, April 11, 2009 at Baxter Regional Medical Center. She was 93. Evelyn was born December 30, 1915 to Albert and Ida Miller Johnson at Chicago, Illinois. She married Stephen Broskovak on June 6, 1943 at Chicago, Illinois. Evelyn worked for IBM as an IBM operator and moved to Bull Shoals in 1972. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who loved life and was loved by everyone she met and. She will be dearly missed. Evelyn was devoted to her pinochle card group and her bridge club and she enjoyed watching TV game shows. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary Hoevel-Barnett VFW Post #1341.

Evelyn is survived by her three sons; her beloved twins Bruce(Vicki) and Brad(Linda) and Steve, her eldest son, all of Bull Shoals, AR, two grandaughters; Katie Broskovak of Flippin, AR and Jodi Breedlove(Mike) of Bull Shoals, AR, two great-grandchildren, Madison and Mason Breedlove, her sister Gertie Swanson of Illinois and one brother; Allen Johnson of Indiana.

She was preceded in death by her husband Stephen, one brother, Chuck Johnson and one sister, Marie Tasso.

Visitation will be from 4-7PM on Friday August 14, 2009 at Kirby & Family Funeral Home in Bull Shoals.

Burial will be in Newton Flat Cemetery with Mike Breedlove, Jim Breedlove, Madison Breedlove Mason Breedlove and Josh Deery as pallbearers. Memorials may be made to the Bull Shoals Library.
