Evelyn Violajean Cochran

Evelyn V. Cochran of Bay, Arkansas, passed away peacefully at her daughter's home with her children by her side on November 28, 2020, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 93. She was born February 5, 1927, in Rector, Arkansas, the daughter of Charlie and Ruby Storey Phillips. Evelyn worked in data processing for FMC in Jonesboro, AR until her retirement. She enjoyed working out in the garden, painting and she especially loved to shop for herself and everyone else.

Evelyn is survived by her daughter, Loretta Johnson of Mountain Home, AR, son, Denny (Betty) Woodard of Okean, AR, daughter-in-law, Peggy Woodard of Black Rock, AR; grandchildren, Barry Woodard, Dwayne Woodard, Stacy Woodard, Kimberly Woodard Castelan, Terry Bartelt, Steve Bartelt, Brad Bartelt, and Amy Bartelt Davis; great-grandchildren, Morgan, Dereck, Ty,Seth, Cody, Andrew, William, Nathaniel, Steven, Shelby, Maddison, Mason, Amy Nicole, Dilan, Drew, Jacob, Zach, Christine, Kelly and Dameon; several great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; son, William "Buddy" Charles Woodard; four brothers and one sister.

A memorial service will be held in the spring.
