Felecia Lane Netterville, a radiant spirit who grew up in a military family, she spent time living in many locations across the United States and Europe, passed away on December 17, 2024, at the age of 54 in Little Rock, Arkansas. Born in Panama City, Florida, on May 4, 1970, she was the adopted daughter of Phil Lane and Dot McLendon; her birth mother was Charlotte Bonnette. Felecia married Kelly Netterville on December 23, 2014, in Hillsborough, North Carolina. Their lives were filled with love and laughter.
Since her move to Fairfield Bay from Carrboro, North Carolina, in 2023, Felecia embraced her new home with warmth and grace. She was not just a loving wife and devoted mother; she was a beacon of compassion and empathy, her heart expansive and welcoming. Known for her intelligence, unyielding spirit, and infectious humor, she left a mark on everyone she met. Felecia held a Master’s Degree in Public Health from CSU, a testament to her commitment to making a difference in the world around her. Her faith in Jesus fueled her resilience, and she faced life with unwavering determination.
Felecia leaves behind her husband, Kelly Netterville; her father, Phil Lane; two children, Jenna Bateman of Raleigh, NC, and Britt Bateman of Durham, NC; and her stepchildren, Kayden Netterville of Rocky Mount, NC, and Haley Belanger of Livingston, MT. Her legacy continues through her brother, Paul Bonnette of Panama City, FL; her sister, Christi Sande of Bayfield, CO; and a multitude of family and friends who will carry her memory in their hearts. She was preceded in death by her birth mother, Charlotte and her mother, Dot.
A Graveside Funeral Service to celebrate Felecia's life will be held at 2:00 pm, on Friday, December 20, 2024, at the Green Burial Section of Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemetery in Mountain Home, Arkansas. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to the SPCA or a local Humane Society. Arrangements have been entrusted to Kirby and Family Funeral and Cremation Services in Mountain Home, Arkansas.
