Fern Freeman died Thursday, August 23, 2007 at Mountain Home. She was 75. She was born March 1, 1932 at Alton, Missouri to Wellie and Mae Rice Stogsdill. She married Arlon A. Freeman, October 23, 1983 at Russellville, Arkansas. She was a homemaker and enjoyed cooking, tennis and bowling. She and her husband started the Trinity Chapel Baptist Church in 2001. Fern lived in the Mountain Home area since 1994 moving from Russellville. Survivors: She is survived by her husband, Pastor Arlon Freeman; son, Marlin (Mary Kay) Sheehorn of Russellville; three brothers, Kenneth (Emma Lou) Stogsdill, Harold (Pearl) Stogsdill of Alton, Missouri and Hugh (Eunice) Stogsdill of Bourbon, Missouri; 12 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Survivors also include step-son Ron Freeman, Step-daughter Connie(Leon) Koerth both of Russellville, Arkansas Preceded in Death by: She is preceded in death by her parents, and 3 children, Kelley, Randy and Steven. Visitation: Visitation will be 4:00 - 7:00 P.M. Sunday at Kirby & Family Funeral Home. Funeral: Funeral services for Fern Freeman of Mountain Home will be 10:00 A.M. Monday, August 27, 2007 at the Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Alan Yarborough officiating. Burial: Burial and graveside service will be 3:30 P.M. Monday, at the Resthaven Cemetery, Russellville, Arkansas with Reverend Richard Falbo officiating. Memorials: Memorials may be made to Trinity Chapel Baptist Church.
