Florence Verley was born August 12, 1938 in Iron Mountain, Michigan to Harry and Hulda Niemi Micensky. She married Jerald Verley on February 1, 1958 in Iron Mountain and was a retired school teacher of 27 years. She lived in Cotter since 2000 moving from Ishpeming, Michigan and enjoyed decorating her house, flowers, loved teaching, and never missed a Green Pay Packers Game. She was a member of the Hopewell Baptist Church. She died September 30, 2007 at her residence. She was 69. Survivors: She is survived by her husband; 2 sons, Lawrence M. Verley of Las Vegas, Nevada, and Daniel J. Verley of Ishpeming; 2 daughters, Sandra L. Wuorenmaa, of Ishpeming, Michigan and Debra J. (Mike) Elliott of Minnetonka, Minnesota; 2 brothers, Harry (Norma) Micensky of Bowling Green, Kentucky and Mike (Debbie) Micensky of Peoria, Arizona; 6 Grandchildren, Jerry and Andrea Wuorenmaa, Courtney, Ashlee, and Lindsey White and Matthew Verley; 3 Great grandchildren and her beloved dogs, Boots and Pepper. Preceded in Death by: She is preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers and 1 sister. Funeral: A Memorial Service for Florence Verley of Cotter, Arkansas will be Tuesday, October 2, 2007 at 10:00 A.M. at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Louis Stephens, officiating. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of the Ozarks.
