A Memorial Service for Floyd R. Baye, 80, of Bull Shoals, AR will be 10AM Friday February 14, 2014, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home in Bull Shoals, AR with Reverend Marilyn Schultz officiating. Floyd died suddenly at his home February 11, 2014.
Floyd was born March 27, 1934, at Ewing, N. Dakota to George and Alpha Munson Baye. He was retired veteran of the United States Army serving his country during Vietnam. Floyd traveled all over the world training other service specialists. He married Dorothy Anderson and together they drove a truck across the country delivering boats. Floyd enjoyed working and took great care of his yard. He was a lifetime member of Hoevel-Barnett Post #1341 VFW and Christ By the Lake Lutheran Church.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy of Bull Shoals, AR; daughter Penny Baye of North Dakota; three brothers Butch Baye (Carol) of TX; Farmer Baye (Gwen) of CA, Squill Baye (VI) of SD; sister, Janet Tomlinson of OR as well as a number of nieces and nephews. His parents and 8 siblings preceded him in death.
