Floyd died on December 12, 2008 at his home. Floyd was born Nov. 13, 1925 to Charles and Clara (Schempp) Hacecky. He married Donna Dilley on September 16, 1948 in Yankton. Floyd was a farmer with a passion for airplanes and flying. He was also a builder of homes, airplanes, farm equipment, etc. He enjoyed fishing and pinochle. He will be remembered for his wonderful sense of humor. Floyd and Donna lived in Yankton until 1985 when they moved to Carmichael Ca. They lived the last 16 years in Lakeview, Ar. He was a member of the Redeemer Lutheran Church. Survivors: Floyd is survived by his wife Donna of Lakeview one son, Kim (Karen) Hacecky of Yankton, South Dakota; one daughter, Karla (Tom) Tastad of Sioux Falls, S. D.; one brother, Dale (Mary) Hacecky of Yankton, S.D.;: two sisters Dorothy Prickett of Scotland, S. D. and Joyce (Lee)Plank of Bella Vista, Arkansas and five grandchildren ,several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Visitation: Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Floyd died on December 12, 2008 at his home. Funeral: A Memorial Service for Floyd Charles Hacecky will be held on December 22, 2008 , at 10:30 AM in Yankton, SD at Wentz and Ray Funeral Home with the Reverend David Gunderson officiating. Burial: Entombment will be in the Garden of Memories Cemetery in Yankton, South Dakota. Memorials: Memorials may be made to the charity of your choice.
