Memorial Services for Frances M. Adkins of Gassville, Arkansas, will be 2:00 pm Wednesday, May 25, 2011 at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel, with Reverend Randy Ludwig officiating.
Frances died Sunday, May 22, 2011 at Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 80. She was born June 27, 1930 in Whittier, California, the daughter of Harold I. and Alta Morrows Vanderlin. She married William J. Adkins on August 18, 1949 at Downey, California and was homemaker. Frances lived in Gassville, AR since August 1988 moving from Junction City, Kansas. She enjoyed knitting and crocheting, liked to read and go camping.
Frances is survived by her 2 daughters, Donna Adkins of Fordland, MO and Sandra (Jerry) Griffen of Swainsboro, GA; 3 grandchildren, Robert Tyndal, William (Danielle) Griffen and Frances (Chris) McKenzie and 3 great-grandchildren, Riley and Aiden Griffen and Damien McKenzie
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
Burial will be in the Kirby?s Tucker Memorial Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the American Juvenile Diabetes Association.
