Funeral Services for Frances Eaddy Kauffman of Mountain Home, Arkansas, will be 2:00 PM Saturday, June 4, 2011 at First United Methodist Church, Mountain Home, Arkansas, with Reverend Siegfried Johnson officiating.
Frances passed away Tuesday, May 31, 2011 in Mountain Home, at the age of 83. She was born November 2, 1927 in Bushnell, Florida, the daughter of Francis and Eloise Morris Eaddy. She married Robert L. Kauffman on August 17, 1948 at Bushnell, FL. She received a Bachelor's Degree in Education from Florida State University and was a teacher in Sarasota, Florida for 30 years. She was a member of the First Christian Church in Sarasota and upon moving to Arkansas she joined the First United Methodist Church. Frances lived in Mountain Home, AR since 2000 moving from Sarasota.
Frances is survived by 2 sons, Robert (Lori) Kauffman of Mountain Home, AR and Steven Kauffman of Tallahassee, FL; brother, Dr. Morris (Lee) Eaddy of Pensacola, FL; 4 grandsons, Jared (Julie), Travis, David and Thomas, 2 great-grandchildren, Kaylee and Brendan and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and 2 sisters.
Graveside services will be 10:00 AM, Tuesday, June 7, 2011 at the Evergreen Cemetery, Bushnell, Florida.
Memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church or St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
