Frances Walker

Frances A. Walker was born January 14, 1918 in Elgin, Illinois to Frank and Emma Wernham McCarthy. She graduated from the University of Illinois with a Liberal Arts Degree. She married Frederick R. Walker on January 7, 1943 in Elgin, Illinois. She was a homemaker who resided in Mountain Home for twenty-five years. Frances A. Walker passed away at Pine Lane Nursing Home, in Mountain Home, Arkansas, on March 17, 2005, at the age of 87 years, 2 months, and 3 days. Survivors: Husband of 63 years, Frederick R. Walker of Mountain Home, Arkansas; four children, Randall Walker of Oakland, California, Sarah Walker of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Frank Walker of Mountain Home, Arkansas and James (Hani) Walker of Oakland, California; sister, Margaret Zitzmann of Springfield, Virginia, and several nephews.
