A Funeral Service for Francis "Bud" Donald Brown of Mountain Home, Arkansas, will be 3:00 pm, Friday, October 28, 2016, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel, with Brother Marshal Lum officiating. Visitation will be Friday, October 28, 2016, from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home.
Bud passed away October 24, 2016, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 83. He was born June 8, 1933, in Buffalo, New York, the son of Leo and Irma Ottenott Brown. Bud lived in Mountain Home since moving from Grand Island, New York, in 1978. He married Sue Frazier on June 6, 2015, at Bull Shoals, Arkansas. He enjoyed renovating airstream trailers, listening to bluegrass and jazz, watching western movies. He also enjoyed being a HAMM Radio Operator.
Bud is survived by his wife, Sue Brown of Mountain Home, AR; two sons, Dale (Diane) Brown of Lake Tahoe, NV, and James Brown of San Diego, CA; three daughters, Deborah Brown of Bull Shoals, AR, Nancy (Kevin) Reeves of Corfu, NY, and Margaret (Steve) Akins of Harrison, AR; friend and former spouse, Lois Brown of Bull Shoals, AR; nine step-children, Deena DeMartino, Janet Hartigan, Kathy Cassidy-Frazier, Jon Frazier, Chris Crothers, Scott Crothers, Jeri Baker, Brigit Frazier, and Brad Frazier; 44 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren and two more on the way.
He was preceded in death by his father, Leo Brown; mother, Irma Brown; four brothers, Robert, Leo, William, and Richard Brown, three sisters, Joan Bauman, Mary Ann Kaminski, and Elizabeth "Betty" Rosling; son, Kenneth Brown; and granddaughter, Lindsay Burleson.
Memorials may be made to Food Bank of North Central Arkansas or Hospice of the Hills Hospice House.
