A Memorial Service for Frank Connor, 80, of Bull Shoals, AR will be 2PM Friday July 29, 2011 at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel in Bull Shoals, Arkansas with Pastor Eric Stefanski officiating. Burial will be private in Layton Cemetery Yellville, AR. Frank died July 27, 2011 at Baxter Regional Medical Center.
Frank was born December 4, 1930 at Johnstown, PA to Frank E. and Emma Martis Connor. He married Carol Erickson Evers August 1, 1997 at Belle Plaine, MN. Frank served his country in the United States Army as a Ranger in the Korean War. He was a lifetime member of the VFW. Frank enjoyed traveling the United States with Carol in their Motor Home. Underneath Frank?s gruff exterior lay a man with a heart of gold and a love of family especially his grandchildren. He was a member of the Holy Trinity Evangelical-Lutheran Church of Harrison and Bull Shoals.
Frank is survived by his wife Carol of Bull Shoals; two sons, Tim Connor of IL and Chip Connor (Laura) of NC; four stepchildren, Jon Evers (Linda) of Fl, Joel Evers (Staci), Jay Evers (Darci), and Jodi Lacy (Brian) all of MN; eleven grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild; and two sisters, Veronica Betts (Don) of MD and Mary Dorcik of OH. He was preceded in death by his first wife Elizabeth and two sisters.
