Frank "Fritz" Dappas

Frank A. "Fritz" Dappas of Mountain Home, Arkansas, passed away October 5, 2023, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 84. He was born February 28, 1939, in Chicago, Illinois, the son of Anthony and Stasia Dergentis Dappas. He married Betty Bonnevier on November 4, 1961 in Chicago, Illinois and worked as a mechanic for Schultz and Burch. Fritz moved to Mountain Home in 2006. He was a member of St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church. He enjoyed gardening and racing pigeons. Fritz loved animals but most of all loved being "The PaPa".

Fritz is survived by his wife, Betty Dappas of Mountain Home, AR; son, Tony (Nancy) Dappas; daughter, Lisa (Randy) Cohen; sisters, Evann Horan and Barbara Williams; grandchildren, Alissa, Corinne, Aimee, Audrey, and Emily; and great-grandchildren, Hutch and Lenna.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, John Dappas; and sisters, Stasia Edwards and Elizabeth Hutton.

A Graveside Service for Fritz will be 10:00 am, Monday, October 9, 2023, at Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemetery, with Father Norbert Rappold officiating.
