Frank Green

Frank Green died Tuesday, August 12, 2008 in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 87. He was born Saturday, May 21, 1921 in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, the son of Frank Frederick and Jessie Launius Green. He married Beulah Jones on February 24, 1945 at St. Louis, Missouri and worked as a machinest for McDonald-Douglas. Frank Green was a U.S. Navy veteran of WWII. He lived in Bull Shoals since 1982 moving from St. Louis, Missouri. He was a lifetime member of the Masons and a member of the Hoevel-Barnett V.F.W. He was a ham operator, wonderful husband, friend and neighbor. Survivors: Frank Green is survived by his wife, Beulah Green, 2 brothers-in-law, Howard (Connie Sue) Jones of Dexter, MO and Maurice (Sybil) Jones of Parksville, TN, 2 nieces, LouAnn Rather of Poplar Bluff, MO and Betty Jean Pennington of Poplar Bluff, MO, many other nieces and nephews and all of his friends. Preceded in Death by: He was preceded in death by his parents and 1 brother. Funeral: Memorial services for Frank F. Green of Bull Shoals, AR, will be 10:00 A.M. Friday, August 15, 2008 at the Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel - Bull Shoals, with Dr. John Carey and Mr. Terry Frizzell officiating. Burial: Burial will be in the Newton Flat Cemetery, Bull Shoals. Memorials: Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
