Frank Miller died Wednesday, September 3, 2008 in Blue Eye at the age of 79. He was born Saturday, February 9, 1929 in Slater, Missouri, the son of Stanley G. and Mary Louise Payne Miller. He married Sandra Bakly on August 17, 2002 at Mountain Home, Arkansas and was a US Navy veteran of Korea. He worked for Lockheed Missiles as an engineer on the US Navy A-3 Polaris. Frank lived in Blue Eye since 2006 moving from Mountain Home. He previously lived in Ft. Meyers, Florida. He was a member of the Norfork Lake Boat Club, Elks, AOPA and the Bonanza Society. He was an avid football fan, tennis player and Mountain Home High School Tennis Team Head Coach for several years. He was the Pine Mountain Lake Association Director and Vice-President for 5 years and chairman of the Airport Committee. Survivors: Frank Miller is survived by his wife, Sandra Miller, daughter, Vicky (Randy) Beemer of Bedford, IA, son, Michael (Dianne) Miller of Rhonert Park, CA, sister, Pat Rice of Olympia, WA and 5 grandchildren, Kory, Koby, Kandy, Michael and Michele. Preceded in Death by: He was preceded in death by his parents and son, Gary. Funeral: Memorial services for Frank Austin Miller of Blue Eye, MO, formerly of Mountain Home, will be 11:00 A.M. Saturday, October 25, 2008 at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel, with Dr. Richard Byrd officiating.
