Frank James Prohaska III was born March 24, 1925 in Chicago, Illinois. He was the son of Frank James and Emily Rose Carl Prohaska II. He married Carol Wallin on March 14, 1949 in Chicago, Illinois. He was a retired photo engraver for the Chicago Tribune and a United States Marine Corp World War II Veteran. He owned and operated Frank's Pub in Park Forest, Illinois for six years. He also owned Hardy's Fisherman Inn in Lakeview, Arkansas. He lived in Park Forest, Illinois prior to moving to Lakeview in 1979. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and bowling. Mr. Prohaska was a member of St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church. Frank James Prohaska III passed away on July 9, 2005, at the age of 80 years, 3 months and 15 days. Survivors: Two daughters, June Alice (Timm) Wagner of Spooner, Wisconsin, and Shirlie (John) Lash of Portage, Indiana; one sister, Reeda Lane of Rinard, Illinois; seven grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren, and close friends, Ricky and Linda Dye of Gassville Preceded in Death by: Parents; wife, Shirley; one brother and two sons, Denis and John Visitation: 5:00-8:00 p.m., with Vigil at 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 13, 2005 at Kirby-Boaz Funeral Home, Bull Shoals, Arkansas Funeral: Memorial Mass for Frank James Prohaska III of Lakeview, Arkansas will be 11:00 a.m., Thursday, July 14, 2005 at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church with Reverend Gregory Hart as Celebrant.
