Frank Osborn Stetler was born October 8, 1917 at Chicago, Illinois to Jack and Mayme Heller Dougherty. He married Virginia Blommaert on August 31, 1940 in Chicago, Illinois. He was a Research and Development Engineer in Food Processing with Union Carbide. Frank was a U.S. Army WW II veteran. Mr. Stetler lived in Bull Shoals for 25 years, moving from Forest Park, Illinois. He loved to fish and read and was an active member of the community, always willing to volunteer his time. Frank died on February 28, 2007 at his residence in Flippin, Arkansas at the age of 89 years, 4 months and 20 days. Survivors: He is survived by; daughters, Barbara Tassos and husband Tom of Schamburg, Illinois, Virginia Wozniak and husband Tom of Schamburg, Illinois, Pat Garrett and husband Danny of Flippin; sons Frank Stetler and wife Mary of Elmhurst, Illinois, Don Stetler and wife Susan of Bull Shoals, Ken Stetler and wife Ann of Flippin, Gary Stetler and wife Janie of Liberty, Missouri, many grandchildren, great grandchildren and 1 great, great grandchild. Preceded in Death by: He was preceded in death by his wife, one daughter and his brother. Visitation: Visitation will be from 11:00 to 1:00 Saturday at Kirby-Boaz Funeral Home in Bull Shoals Funeral: 1:00 Saturday, March 3, 2007 at Kirby-Boaz Funeral Home in Bull Shoals with Reverend Jerry Backus officiating.
