Franklin Baker

Funeral services for Franklin M Baker of Midway, Arkansas, will be private. He died Saturday, November 13, 2010 in Mountain Home, Arkansas, at the age of 72. Franklin was born November 1, 1938 in Fairfield, IL, the son of Melvin Lloyd and Hazel Genevieve Gray Baker. He married Martha Pennel Harrington on July 22, 2009 at Bull Shoals, AR. He retired from the U.S. Navy after 20 years and also retired from the U.S. post office and was a veteran of the Vietnam War. Franklin lived in Midway, Arkansas for 10 years moving from Deland, Fl. Franklin is survived by his wife; Martha Baker, one daughter, Tina Hermann of Sherwood, AR; 2 granddaughters, Erica (Brad) Logsdon and Christa Hermann; 1 great-grandson, Chase Logsdon and one step daughter, Twink (Al) Kaplan of Sonoma, CA. He was preceded in death by his parents and wife Marie. Memorials may be made to the Hospice of the Ozarks Hospice House. Arrangements are by Kirby Family Funeral Cremation Services.
