Fred N. Meldrum died April 4, 2008 at Mountain Home, Arkansas. He was bron June 5,1931 son of Johnny Meldrum. He was a U.S. Army veteran and an editor for the newspaper. Survivors: He is survived by his 2 sons, Greg and Keith Meldrum both of Chicago, Illinois, 2 brothers John and Jack Meldrum of Texas, stepson, William Pruitt of Mountain Home, Arkansas and his caregiver, Linda Williams of Mountain Home, Arkansas.
