Fred passed away March 27, 2014, in Mountain Home. He was born March 6, 1940, in Yellville, Arkansas, the son of Albert and Virgie Rowland. He married Jeanne Wash on July 28, 1978, at Morris, Illinois and worked as a machine operator for Caterpillar Tractor Co. Fred was a veteran and lived in Mountain Home since 1992. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Surviving are his wife, Jeanne Rowland of Mountain Home, AR; sons, Mark (Sam) Rowland of Vero Beach, FL and Nathan (Shannon) Wash of Jonesboro, AR and brother, Wayne Rowland of Knoxville, TN.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Fred Rowland Jr.; five brothers and two sisters.
Memorials may be made to Humane Society of North Central Arkansas.
