Funeral services for Frederick Evan Ufferman of Lakeview, Arkansas, will be at a later date in his home state of Wisconsin.
Frederick passed away March 16, 2012, in Springfield, Missouri, at the age of 75. He was born January 11, 1937, in Chicago, Illinois, the son of Frederick and Marian Weier Ufferman. He married Catherine Sawyer on September 26, 1959, at Oconomowoc, Wisconsin and retired from the Teamster Union and the State of Wisconsin Department of Corrections. Frederick was a U.S. Navy veteran. Frederick lived in Lakeview, Arkansas since 2003, moving from Lady Smith, Wisconsin. He was a member of St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church. Frederick loved to watch the Green Bay Packers and the Wisconsin Badgers play. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt, fish, golf, and bird watch. Frederick enjoyed family time and gatherings.
Frederick is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Catherine of Lakeview, AR; 2 sons, Scott (Susan) Ufferman, Jason (Bethany) Ufferman; 2 daughters, Lisa (Ted) Durant, Evette (John) Chandler; 9 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and sister, Judith Uglow.
