Garold Good

A Gathering of Friends for Garold Wes Good of Calico Rock, Arkansas, was held on Thursday, September 9, 2010 at Calico Rock United Methodist Church. He passed away Tuesday, September 7, 2010 at Baxter Regional Medical Center at the age of 54. Wes was born June 14, 1956 in Willinston, North Dakota, the son of Garold Grover Good and Carilyn Good-Lutz. He was a Gas Line and Drilling General Contractor. Wes had lived in the Calico Rock area since moving from Topeka, Kansas fifteen years ago. Wes spent his days doing what he loved; riding his horses, being outside, and spending time with his family. Wes is survived by his wife, Marilyn Halby-Good, of Calico Rock, 2 daughters, Leslie (Jason) Good-Lane of Tyronza, Arkansas and Beth (David) Bird, of Ottawa, Kansas; 1 sister, Jeanne Hanson of Ft. Charlotte, Florida, 1 brother, Frank Good of Topeka, Kansas; 2 Grandchildren, Abigail and Megan Bird; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father. Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association or American Kidney Foundation. Arrangements are by Kirby & Family Funeral & Cremation Services
