Gary Wayne Edwards

Gary Wayne Edwards of Mountain Home, Arkansas, passed away September 28, 2021, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 65. He was born April 17, 1956, in Batesville, Arkansas, the son of Ray and Gleda Gregory Edwards. He worked as a Driver for the Van Matre Senior Center in Mountain Home for 23 years. He drove seniors to and from the Center and made sure they made it to their Dr appointments. Gary lived in Mountain Home since moving from Jordan, AR in 1991. He enjoyed Live Music, swam in every body of water he could find and hosted gatherings for friends and family like no other every chance he had. He also attended the Hogs games from time to time.

Gary is survived by his son, Erik (Alyssa) Edwards of Jonesboro, AR; daughter, Eden Edwards, of Mountain Home, AR; his brother, Donald (Susie) Edwards, of Tulsa, OK and a large number of extended family members.

He was preceded in death by his parents and sisters, Kathy, Carol and Martha.

A Celebration of Life for Gary will be 2:00 pm, Sunday, October 10, 2021, at Kirby & Family Funeral & Cremation Services in Mountain Home, with Reverend Randy Ludwig officiating. Entombment will be in the Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemetery Mausoleum. Due to current restrictions, masks are required indoors.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
