Gary J. Kruchten was born April 9, 1953 at Chicago, Illinois, to Leslie and Eileen Tracey Kruchten. He worked for a carpet company and loved to listen to the Blues and collect music. He was a Army veteran of the Vietnam War and a tanker with the Americal Division. He was a member of the American Legion and the Vietnam Vets of America. He had lived in the Flippin area since moving from Chicago in 1999. He passed away at the Baxter Regional Medical Center in Mountain Home, Arknasas on September 21, 2006 at the age of 53 years, 5 months and 12 days. Survivors: He is survived by his wife Luci Kruchten and daughter Christina of Flippin; 2 brothers, Les (Janet) Kruchten of Lakeview, Larry (Betty) Kruchten of Tuscon, Arizona; sisters, Loretta (John) Meyers of Green Bay, Wisconsin and Patricia (Leo) Gruenholz of Homer Glen, Illinois; multiple nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
