A Graveside Service for Gary Don Luck of Nixa, Missouri, will be 10:00 am, Friday, July 21, 2017, at Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemetery, with Mr. Johnny Shew officiating. Military Honors will be provided by the Alley-White American Legion Post #52 and the United States Navy Honor Guards.
Gary passed away July 16, 2017, in Greenwood, Arkansas at the age of 73. He was born July 12, 1944, in Lubbock, Texas, the son of O.W. and Lucile Butler Luck. Gary was a U.S. Navy veteran and lived in Mountain Home for most of his adult life. He married Jan Wainscott on November 29, 2003, in Mountain Home, Arkansas. Gary was a builder and a retired Deputy Sheriff for Baxter County. He enjoyed building things, especially for his grandchildren.
Gary is survived by his wife, Jan Luck of Nixa, MO; son, David Luck of Mountain Home, AR; daughter, Kerrie (Gerald) Englund of Neosho, MO; step-daughter, Krista (Nathan) Adams of Nixa, MO; step-son, Carson (Erin) Jones of Phoenix, AZ; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; sister, Joy (Jerry) Shew of North Little Rock, AR; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Bill Luck.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to STARS for Autism in Battlefield, Missouri.
