Gary James Maier, age 55, of Norfork, Arkansas, passed away Sunday, September 30, 2012, at Mountain Home, Arkansas.
Gary was born November 27, 1956, in Buffalo, New York, to Ralph J. and Jane Rentschler Maier. He lived the past 16 years in Arkansas, enjoying fishing, carpentry, and house building. Gary worked at Pine Lane Therapy and Living Center in Mountain Home.
Gary is survived by his parents, his two brothers and sisters-in-law, Thomas J. and Stephanie K. Maier, of Williamsville, NY, and William C. and Patricia Maier of West Almond, NY; six nieces, Barbara Maier (Weston) Cross, Susan (Justin) Maier Royer, Alexandra D. Maier, Julie Maier, Angelica J. Maier, and Catherine A. Maier; and two grandnieces, Charlotte and Matilda Cross.
A memorial service will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, October 2, 2012 at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel. Inurnment will be in the Kirby's Tucker Memorial Mausoleum.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of the Ozarks.
Arrangements are by Kirby and Family Funeral and Cremation Services.
