Memorial services for Gene Botts Beckman of Mountain Home, Arkansas, will be 2:00 PM Saturday, October 30, 2010 at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel, with Reverend David Gadbaw officiating.
Gene died Thursday, October 28, 2010 at Mountain Home, at the age of 79. He was born November 29, 1930 in MaComb, Illinois, the son of Alfred Jacob and Jennette Botts Beckman. He married Margaret ?Marnie? Weber on June 27, 1952 at Geneva, Illinois and was a Vice President for the Milwaukee Railroad. Gene lived in Mountain Home, Arkansas since 1990 moving from Adair, Illinois. He enjoyed woodworking.
Gene is survived by his wife, Marnie Beckman of Mountain Home, AR; 1 son, Steven (Sharon) Beckman of Brookfield, IL; 1 daughter, Susan (Dan) Naroleski of Plainfield, IL; 3 grandchildren, Sarah (Dave) Eddy, Samantha (Ryan) Schoonover and Dan Naroleski and one brother, George (Jane) Beckman of Bushnell, IL.
He was preceded in death by his parents and 1 brother, Joseph.
Memorials may be made to the Hospice of the Ozarks.
