Gene Irvin Kingrey

Gene Irvin Kingrey of Mountain Home, Arkansas, passed away August 31, 2023, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 96. He was born October 17, 1926, the son of Thomas and Otha Marie Kingrey. Gene was a U.S. Army veteran of WWII. He married Merlene Turner on August 7, 1952 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Gene lived in Arkansas since 1975. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He always kept busy working on projects.

Gene is survived by his wife, Merlene Kingrey of Mountain Home, AR; son, Ron Kingrey of Mountain Home, AR; and several grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Garry Lee Kingrey; two brothers; and two sisters.

A Graveside Funeral Service for Gene will be 10:00 am, Tuesday, September 5, 2023, at Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemetery, Mountain Home, Arkansas, with Military Honors provided by the United States Army and the Alley-White American Legion Post #52 Honor Guards.
