Genevieve Jones MacHarg

Funeral Services for Genevieve Madsen Jones MacHarg of Mountain Home, Arkansas, will be private. Genevieve passed away January 20, 2013, in Gassville, Arkansas, at the age of 97. She was born May 16, 1915, in Chicago, Illinois and married Edward N. Jones in 1942. Edward gave his young life for our beloved country in World War II. Genevieve was a U.S. Army veteran, serving with the W.A.C. In 1960, Genevieve married marine veteran William T. MacHarg. Genevieve moved to Mountain Home in 1978, where she enjoyed the friendliest, kindest, God-loving Americans. Genevieve was blessed with a loving family, and the "greatest generation" to grow up in. She was so wondrously blessed by God, throughout her long life. Genevieve was also blessed by the two wonderful husbands and their loving families, the adopted grandniece and her two children. Genevieve enjoyed the churches, clubs, and great friendships she made through the years. She asked that we please fervently pray and stay actively involved in keeping America forever "One Nation Under God." "Loving you all until we meet again!"
