Gen died Sunday, June 27, 2010 at the age of 92 in Mountain home, Arkansas. She was born Genevieve Lorraine Winicki in Chicago on April 21, 1918; she was raised by her mother, (Stella (Kielbik) Harstad) and stepfather, (Clifford Harstad) and graduated from Roosevelt High School in 1936. In 1939 she married Fredrick G. Koehn in Elmwood Park, Ill; they had three children, Fredrick R. (1942), William C. (1943) and Kenneth L. (1947).

In 1948, the Koehn family moved to Franklin Park, Illinois into a modest "GI Bill" house which they spent the next 34 years building into a home. In 1982 Gen and Fred moved to Lakeview, Arkansas where they become involved in local boating, fishing and social activities; they enjoyed traveling and visits to their children as well. Gen and Fred moved to Mountain Home in 2002. Continuing her lifelong devotion to family, Gen, with love and patience cared for her ailing husband until his death in 2008. She remained active, often visiting friends in Lakeview and Bull Shoals.

Genevieve is survived by three sons, Fredrick R.
