Memorial Services for Genevieve Johnson Osborn of Dora, Missouri, will be 2:00 PM, Sunday, December 11, 2011, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel, with Bill Joy officiating. Genevieve passed away Thursday, December 1, 2011, at Mountain Home, at the age of 83. She was born December 9, 1927, in Gassville, AR, the daughter of Theodore Augustus and Bertie Deatherage Johnson. She married William Richard Osborn on March 14, 1948, at Gassville, AR. She was a homemaker. Genevieve lived in Dora, Missouri since 1975, moving from Mountain Home, AR. She was a member of Richville Seventh Day Adventist Church. Genevieve is survived by her husband Richard, of Dora, MO; daughter, Gwen Osborn Khayat of Cotter, AR; 2 sons, Wayne Richard Osborn, of Dora, MO, and William Johnson Osborn, of Dora, MO; 6 grandchildren, Dalal Khayat Raikos, Nick Osborn, Katy Osborn, Wayne Osborn, Jr., Miranda Osborn, Uriah Osborn, and 2 great-grandchildren, Saphira and Jemima. She was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Linda Gayle, 3 brothers, and 1 sister. Burial will be in the Fairview Cemetery, Fairview, AR. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Fairview Cemetery or Gassville Cemetery Maintenance Funds. Arrangements are by Kirby & Family Funeral and Cremation Services.
